“It is much easier to feel good in the protective bubble of my office or one’s home, couch, or bed, but health cannot be defined by life in a vacuum- stagnant, apart. Health, and life, means the ability to work, play, interact with others in activity that brings you fulfillment and joy. It does not necessarily mean to be forever free of symptoms, but rather to have the ability to recover speedily and assuredly from excess or injury. Again, the treatment is pivotal, but not exclusive. It must be supported by your health in the form of nutrition, exercise, and emotional well-being.”

Why do we practice Osteopathy? We believe it to be the most complete and comprehensive approach to help establish and maintain health for the patient. more precisely, to help support the patient’s relationship with the health. osteopathy is a natural science. it is based on the laws of living organisms, as well as larger systems of dynamic motion, and stillness, in the natural world. when we observe natural phenomena, whether a river coursing down a mountain or across a prairie, or the growth of the leaves and petals on the stem of a plant or flower, we can sense how form and function are intimately related. These relationships, their origins and their development, are what we are sensing during treatment.
